A Christmas cracker! Even without the decorations we would be giving a 5 star review. Irish coffee is out of this world, it was the biggest recommendation from friends before going and it surpassed expectations. The shepherds pie was delicious and the beef sandwich too. What really made it different though was the service - really felt like the went the extra mile for their customers. Prepare for it to be busy though - we turned up at midday and it was full already!

We tried to reserve a table on the site and there was no availability. We were only a few blocks away so we stopped to see if we could squeeze in, and they made it happen. So, cocktails were outstanding! Tried the falling slowly(slowly falling?), not remembering what it is called is compliment enough. The other I couldn't pronounce if you gave me a week of practice, but it was as good as the name is hard. Food; lobster deviled eggs, we almost came to blows over the last one. We have been married 31 years, pretty sure I would've been throat punched if I had reached for it. Pumpkin soup was a real treat, and the fish was absolutely perfectly fried. The kinda crisp that lasts until the last bite. Stellar job friends.

Went there for a drink since I live in the neighborhood and had long noticed this NYC bar landmark. It was in December, which was perfect timing: the Christmas decorations were everywhere, from the ceiling to the drinks themselves, and really added to the experience. The cocktail selection was excellent: seasonal, creative, and high quality. Everything looked tempting. We did have to wait about 15 minutes outside because of the "after-work rush", but after around 7:30 pm there was no line anymore. We ended up in the main room, seated at the bar. The staff was friendly, the space was clean, and it wasn’t overly loud for an NYC bar. Overall, a very good experience. I’m not sure it’s THE place for a long night of drinking, but it’s definitely worth going for the atmosphere and the experience.

Came here after an event in the area because I’m never this far down, and wow I’m glad I did! The Parlor upstairs is such a cool experience, and the drink menu is unreal. The bartender, Justin I think, was fabulous, and the miso pina colada…woah. The lobster and caviar eggs were also 10/10. Thanks Justin for the baby Irish coffee. Will be back!

Absolutely incredible food and unique cocktails. We reserved a table in the Parlor Room and while it seemed most customers were only getting drinks, we ordered the steak and the dry aged burger and both were sublime, and finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, which I never see at restaurants anymore. The servers were incredibly attentive and our glasses were never empty. This is a must for anyone who loves an elevated NYC pub experience.

The Dead Rabbit has become my favorite bar in NYC. The Parlor on the first floor is amazing. I went there for a few cocktails, and the bartenders’ knowledge, along with the vibe, is top-notch. Definitely my kind of experience. Really worth it.

We had a reservation for parlor for my 10k birthday. The Irish coffee was the best! They also so kindly gave us tiramisu for free and switched the drinks we found too strong with some gentler ones. Loved it!

The Dead Rabbit is hands down my favorite bar in NYC. The bartenders are incredible—knowledgeable, friendly, and always professional, even when the place is buzzing. And trust me, it does get busy, so be prepared for a lively crowd. I usually hang out in the Tap Room, which has the perfect pub energy, but the Parlor upstairs is an absolute must-visit. Definitely make a reservation for the Parlor—it’s worth it. The Dead Rabbit is all about great Irish pub food, top-tier cocktails, and one of the best pints of Guinness you’ll find anywhere in NYC. A classic for a reason. 🍀🍺

Is it one of the best - yes. Big hype about the Guinness, and it really didn’t disappoint. Love the sawdust and the total vibe. Staff were great - and we have a brilliant time, make sure you take a dollar bill so you can write a little note and the team will staple it to the wall for you. They sad they never ever take these down, so it’s a nice thought to return some day and see the note you might have written years ago. ENJOY!

The Dead Rabbit has a great name and an even more interesting setting.....once inside. The deco of the place speaks to the history of the area. The lobster devil eggs were unbelievable. I ordered the house drink "Doctors Orders" and it was amazing....I had 3. Melissa was our server and she was great. I highly recommend this place and its a must visit!!
